NEW PROGRAM

Control the Narrative

As a key program of the newly launched Protect in Peace (PIP) Initiative, Control the Narrative (CTN) embodies the mission to foster safety, resilience, and empowerment in Virginia communities. By addressing the root causes of violence and providing tools for healing and growth, P.I.P. builds a legacy of peace.

This dynamic 10-session program empowers youth aged 12-18 to rethink harmful perspectives on violence, develop essential life skills, and engage in meaningful community projects, such as creating educational zines on social media’s influence.

Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques and hands-on learning, CTN equips participants with tools for non-violent conflict resolution, personal growth, and active community engagement.
