MISSION &VISION

The mission at St. Luke is to create a Legacy that will continue in the advancement of BIPOC, minority communities. Using a holistic wraparound approach, we hope to equip the community with the tools and resources that will meet the needs of all individuals in the community from birth to death. We envision a space, curated specifically for minorities, that will not only confront culturally specific concepts but also enhance the quality of life for entire communities, and the generations after.

EQUIP - EMPOWER - EDUCATE

Our pillars deliver the values and characteristics that are specific to the legacy of the St. Luke Legacy Center. The Mental, Financial, Physical and Social Emotional Health of our Community is of utmost importance to us. We believe continuing the legacy means equipping the community with tools and resources through holistic wraparound services that cater to our people's needs from birth to death.

We are committed to honoring the legacy of Maggie L. Walker. When we say wraparound, that’s what we mean. Our whole family, holistic approach introduces alternative methods of treatment (such as acupuncture, yoga, and sound healing) and explores various options that can result in a positive, impactful change. With the effects of the pandemic’s ever changing dynamics of our economy, our community is facing even more challenges, including access to affordable and relatable services. That's where we come in! Our presence in the community is not only important, but in today’s world, we are essential. 

YOUTH

AGES 0-17

MENTAL

We provide access to wraparound services for at-promise youth in the home, school, and in our centers. 

FINANCIAL

We teach entrepreneurship and financial literacy through interactive games, and workshops. 

PHYSICAL

We introduce opportunities to explore alternative methods of developing a healthy lifestyle.

SOCIAL - EMOTIONAL

We offer a space that nurtures at promise youth to learn the skills that create positive self and social awareness. 

COMMUNITY

We believe that building a legacy not only means to empower the individual but to build a strong community that is developed FOR US, BY US.

YOUNG ADULT

AGES 18-24

MENTAL

We provide access to wraparound services that will educate young adults at home, in the community, and in our centers.

FINANCIAL

We teach and coach entrepreneurship and financial literacy through workshops and events.

PHYSICAL

We offer opportunities to explore alternative methods of developing and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

SOCIAL - EMOTIONAL

We offer a space that allows young adults to learn and implement the skills that create positive self and social awareness.

COMMUNITY

We offer a space where young adults can feel safe in their transition to adulthood, while also providing them with the tools and resources they need to invest in themselves and help the community grow.

AGES 25-50

MENTAL

We provide access to wraparound services that will empower adults at home, in the community, and in our centers.

FINANCIAL

We equip entrepreneurs and individuals with the financial tools to acquire financial freedom for themselves and their families.

We offer the strategies and resources to help maintain alternative methods of a healthy lifestyle.

We offer a space that is focused on giving adults holistic tools they can use to help themselves and the next generation of at-promise youth.

We equip individuals with resources and services that allow them to establish independency, and encourage them to invest in their community.

We provide financial tools that empower seniors to build and sustain a legacy that will help secure wealth for future generations.

We offer opportunities that introduce and empower seniors to ways of maintaining a quality, healthy lifestyle.

We focus on providing seniors with holistic tools that can ultimately improve their quality of life in all aspects.
