Legacy Week is an annual celebration that honors the enduring legacy of Maggie L. Walker and commemorates the founding of the St. Luke Legacy Center. Held during the third week of July, this transformative event is a testament to our commitment to empowering the African American community and equipping individuals with the tools to create a lasting impact. It's a time to reflect on Walker's pioneering spirit and contributions to our community while looking forward to the future with hope and inspiration.

Throughout Legacy Week, we engage in a variety of initiatives and activities aimed at promoting mental, emotional, social, physical, and financial well-being. From workshops and seminars to cultural performances and community gatherings, there's something for everyone to enjoy and participate in. We also take this opportunity to celebrate Maggie L. Walker's birthday, honoring her life and legacy in a meaningful and uplifting way.
