LEGACY WEEK

1st Annual

In honor of Legacy Week, the third week in July honoring Maggie L. Walker's legacy and the one year anniversary of the St. Luke Legacy Center in the historic St. Luke Building in the Jackson Ward neighborhood of Richmond, VA. The SLLC used Legacy Week to promote our initiatives to promote wellness to our community - mentally, emotionally, socially, physically, and financially. Throughout the week that also honors Maggie L. Walker's birthday, who was the entrepreneur who was the first woman to charter a bank in the United States right here in Richmond, we partnered with some amazing local entrepreneurs who embody Walker's legacy.
